FAQs — Steps & Schooners Run Club
Got a question? You’re in the right place.
Whether you’re lacing up for your first run or just curious about what we do (and why we always end up at the pub), we’ve pulled together some of the most common questions about Steps & Schooners.
From how to join, what pace we run, to whether you really have to drink a schooner after — this page has you covered.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for, just reach out — we love hearing from new faces.

What can I expect when I arrive?
Keep an eye out for our instantly recognisable trademark pink hats! Whether it is your first time or 100th time, you will be cheered over the line, welcomed to the group, and handed a beer
Where can I can find what run we are doing this week?
We post run every Wednesday morning on our Instagram Stories.

We have a secure place inside the bar to leave bags and other valuables.

Do you run in all weather?
Rain, Hail and Shine! To quote a favourite song: 'In any weather you can see us with a Grin, risking head and shin'.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely!
Where do you meet?
You can find us inside the bar - either at the sunken tables on the right-hand side, or out in the courtyard.
